Answering God's Call: Kendra's Vocation Story

It is with great joy and excitement we share that our very own, Kendra Baker, has been accepted into Candidacy with the Carmelite Sisters of the Most Sacred Heart of Los Angeles!

The Lord has such a unique way of calling each of His children, and we invite you to read more about Kendra's Vocation Story here.

As you will read in Kendra's story, before she can enter Candidacy, she has a major obstacle to overcome. Like thousands of other men and women discerning priestly and religious vocations, Kendra is unable to answer God's call for one simple reason: outstanding student loans.

To overcome this obstacle, she and her religious community have partnered with the Labouré Society, a Catholic 5o1(c)(3) nonprofit.
